At Kecy & Kompany my #1 priority is the health, safety, security, comfort & well-being of your pet. I will take as much care & attention with your dog as I do my own dogs. I have successfully completed my third certification in canine first aid (scoring 100%) through DOGSAFE Canine First Aid. Retesting is done every 3 years in order to remain certified. You can feel confident that your dog is safe with me whether travelling in my vehicle or walking in your neighborhood. Besides the common sense things like obeying traffic laws & watching for hazards like broken glass, you will never see me with earphones on, talking or texting on my cell phone or sipping a coffee while walking your dog. My focus has to be 100% on them at all times. If I should receive a call during our walk, my voice mail will come on (indicating I am on a dog walk) & I will get back to the caller as soon as it is safe to do so.
Your dog must be well socialized & walk nicely on a leash.
Your dog must be well-behaved in the vehicle.
Your dog must be spayed/neutered for group walks.
Your dog must wear an ID tag & be licensed for your city.
You must provide proof of current vaccinations.
We recommend your dog have flea protection.
No aggressive, ill or injured dogs.
About By-Laws (We leash & clean up after our dogs)
We abide by city by-laws (i.e. leash & clean-up after your dog). We use environmentally friendly biodegradable bags & dispose of them properly. For your dog's safety, no dog will be allowed off-leash. I prefer the safety of on-leash walks for your dog & this is the only format I use. I may occasionally take my own dogs to off-leash areas on our own time or on days off, but I will not compromise the safety of your pet by allowing them off-leash. If done properly a leash walk provides adequate exercise, socialization and opportunities or potty breaks.
We stay on leash
