Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Payment is made in advance of the walks and can be made by cash, cheque or electronic transfer. I issue receipts for all payments. Most clients choose to purchase a package of 10 walks at a time, but you can also pay as you go if you are more comfortable with that.
Q: I noticed that your dog walks are "on-leash". Do you do any off-leash walks?
A: We are strictly an on-leash dog walking service. This is for the health and safety of your pet. I am definitely not impressed with the condition or cleanliness of some of our local off-leash parks nor some of the activities I have seen in them. And given that dogs have recently been stolen and even killed at local dog parks I'm definitely not going to take that chance with your dog. Whenever you let a dog off leash you relenquish control. For your dog I prefer the format of an on-leash group walk. Dogs are pack animals and enjoy migrating together. When done properly an on-leash walk provides plenty of exercise, social interaction with the other dogs, time to sniff and time to do their business. It also keeps the pack safely away from other dogs who may not have the social skills to deal with the off-leash setting. I know there are dog walkers out there who only do group outings to off-leash parks. They load up the vehicle with a bunch of dogs and let them loose in the off-leash park. To me that's not a dog walker ... that's a dog taxi. The dogs aren't necessarily going to get adequate exercise that way. Most will just hang out and sniff around unless you engage them in activity. By walking along with the dogs on leash I can keep them engaged and constantly moving forward. I do all the walking myself (an average of 13-19 km per day) and walk no more than 4 client's dogs at a time. We walk at a steady pace which guarantees adequate exercise. I use 4 foot leashes which keeps the dogs close to me. This allows me to provide more personal service and each dog gets more individual attention. Because I can control where they walk I can also keep them cleaner. With me they will enjoy the discipline of walking nicely in a pack on a leash and they will be SAFE.
Q: What is your service area?
A: I am licensed for all of Surrey & Delta, however I can only realistically travel as far North as about 108th Avenue, as far West as North Delta, as far East as 160th and as far South as 64th Avenue.

Q: Do Kecy & Jeannie come on every walk with you?
A: Kecy was my partner & walked with me every day for 9+ years until we had to say goodbye. Jeannie has been with us since the summer of 2011 & cheerfully comes along on at least one of the longer walks per day, but usually two. We also take a little personal time to play fetch each day as she just loves to play ball. Jeannie is a busy girl what with being my business partner & co-walker but I'm careful not to over-do it or to exhaust her.
